It’s probably fair to say that the love affair between the UK country music fans and Charlie Worsham is intense and entirely reciprocal. Since his first trip over here, fans have bonded with the friendly and passionate artist from Mississippi thanks to his fun and playful lyrics, as well as his overwhelming love of music.
Last year saw him release his latest album The Beginning of Things to an overwhelmingly positive response from fans, largely due to balance of songs offering heart and soul like Southern By The Grace of God and the fun crowd favourite Lawn Chair Don’t Care.
Charlie returns to the UK this September for a run of solo shows, a festival appearance at The Long Road and a handful of dates supporting Lee Ann Womack. The dates are listed below:
Sept 1 – Thekla, Bristol
Sept 2 – Brudenell Social Club, Leeds
Sept 3 – The Cluny, Newcastle
Sept 4 – Glasglow St Lukes *
Sept 6 – Manchester RNCM Concert Hall *
Sept 7 – London Union Chapel *
Sept 9 – Long Road Festival – Stanford Hall, Leicestershire
