You may know her best as Scarlett O’Connor from the hit TV series Nashville. Clare Bowen is the Stevie Nicks-esque voice behind some of the show’s greatest hits and has announced that she’ll be releasing her self-titled debut record on August 31st through BMG Records.
The first single from the album, Let It Rain, was debuted by Bob Harrison BBC Radio 2 and received a brilliant response from listeners. Bowen worked on the album itself alongside the legendary producer T Bone Burnett and includes 11 tracks.
After the Nashville Farewell Tour earlier this year, Bowen has been supporting Sugarland on select dates around the USA. She’ll head to the UK in September for a string of shows (below) supported by UK-crowd favourites Striking Matches.
