Most recently seen in the UK performing on the ever-popular Transatlantic Sessions Tour, Tommy Emmanuel makes a welcome return for shows in February and March 2022.
In a real treat for audiences, special guest on the tour will be dobro master Jerry Douglas.
Emmanuel’s current album, The Best of Tommysongs, is a double album that features some of his best original songs, all solely written, produced and recorded by Emmanuel. As he has been playing some of these songs for over 30 years, and they have evolved over time, Emmanuel wanted to re-record them to suit the modern arrangements and to make them sound bigger and better than ever.
The album features some of Emmanuel’s most well-known works such as the “Angelina,” “Lewis & Clark,” and “It’s Never Too Late” along with fan favorites such as “Mombasa” and “Train to Dusseldorf.” It also has 5 brand new songs including the heart-thumping “Fuel” and the beautifully melodic “Song For A Rainy Morning.”
