Anglo/Austrian, Americana duo Two Ways Home have today (August 3) released a stunning acoustic version of latest single Polaroid Kids.
Written by Lewis Fowler and Isabella MaK, the track tells the story of two people who once had a bond, disappeared out of each other’s lives and then rekindle a spark but never act on this feeling. It speaks about how we all age but how this is not a bad thing.
First released as a single in June, this new acoustic version is the perfect vehicle for Isi’s soaring but delicate voice, harmonising beautifully with Lewis on guitar. Check out the spoken word section which makes this a standout song – https://found.ee/PolaroidkidsAcoustic
Both versions of the single are now available to download from all streaming services and check out the YouTube video which came out alongside the original version of Polaroid Kids. Shot in Vienna, it uses polaroids as an innovative way to take the viewer from one location to the next as the pair perform and revoke long-lost memories through their music.
Having released their first EP back in 2015, Two Ways Home have been trailblazers for the country scene in London, hosting their own songwriters event The Round Up, which has attracted high-profile names from Nashville such as Charlie Worsham and Lainey Wilson, whilst giving a fantastic platform for homegrown talent.
Isi, from Vienna, and Lewis, from Gloucestershire, have previously performed at festivals including Nashville Meets London and The Long Road, and this summer there’s still plenty of opportunity to catch them on the road with festivals on the agenda through August and September.
